Sweet Home Of The North was founded in 2020, in Roscommon, MI. by James Kendall,  licensed builder and general contractor. He has always had a passion for creating unique designs and one of a kind projects in the home remodeling industry. James began his journey at the age of 18, working as a rough framer in the custom home building industry. At 26, he proudly served in the U.S. Army as a medic. After his military service, he moved to Roscommon, Michigan, ready to embrace a new adventure in the great north. Recognizing a shortage of construction companies in the area, James took the leap to start his own business bringing his skills and dedication to the community.
